SHAPER.XYZ by Windzen Innova
From parameters to production.
Windzen Innova builds SHAPER.XYZ, an online parametric design platform for products that fly through air and water — kites, wings, sails, hydrofoils and aircraft. Set a handful of parameters; get complete 3D geometry, flat production panels and engineering data, in your browser.
Why SHAPER.XYZ
Generic CAD tools were not made for flexible, tensioned and aerodynamic products. SHAPER.XYZ was.
Parametric from the start
Change span, taper, rake or airfoil and the whole model, panels included, regenerates. No rebuilding surfaces by hand.
Built for production
3D shapes are unrolled into flat panels with seams and alignment marks, ready for the cutting room.
Online
Nothing to install. Designs live in the cloud and are available anywhere.
Engineering data included
Dimensions, areas, volumes and airfoil curvature analysis for every model.
How it works
-
1 Define parameters
Span, taper, rake, airfoils, seams.
-
2 Compute in the cloud
A C++ geometry engine written from first principles builds the 3D surfaces and unrolls them into flat panels.
-
3 Review and produce
3D view in the browser, flat panels, dimensions, areas and volumes.

Who it is for
Brands
Kite, wing, windsurf, paraglider and foil companies: faster iterations, consistent production panels.
Factories
Production-ready flat patterns straight from the model.
Independent designers and shapers
Professional tools without a CAD department.
Students, researchers and aircraft builders
Open parametric airfoil, wing and airplane models.

Where each model stands, in detail: shaper.xyz/models
Long term: one connected flow from design to production to market testing — for the whole product cycle of a brand.

Free
Airfoil, airplane and rigid-wing models, open to everyone.
Basic + credits
Free to design · pay per use to produce
Free basic version of every other model for design and exploration. Production files (flat panels, cutting data) are generated with pay-per-use credits.

For brands and industry players: full functionality, team use, and the future integration of design, production and market testing.
Built on Google Cloud
SHAPER.XYZ runs on Google Cloud. Every model update is a compute job for our C++ geometry engine, so compute demand grows directly with users and model complexity.
Our plan on Google Cloud:
- Compute Engine for the geometry engine, with VMs in several regions to serve designers and factories close to where they work — Europe, Asia and the Americas.
- A dedicated database VM for PostgreSQL, under our full control.
- Cloud Storage for generated geometry, production files and media.
Decimo “Dudu” Mazzocato — Founder
Naval engineer (1995) who has spent his career where wind, water and flight meet — always involved with the factories that build the products.
- Maui (1995–2005) — engineer, developer and test rider at Naish Hawaii. Together with the designer Don Montague, he was part of the pioneer team of the first kitesurf kites development. Got his FAA airplane pilot license with Maui Aviators.
- Brazil — part of the development of kitesurfing in the country.
- San Francisco — worked with Makani Power (Google X) on airborne wind energy, and on Kai Institute projects: renewable energy and a high-performance hydrofoil trimaran pulled by giant kites. Trained as a commercial helicopter pilot and flew the helicopter that followed the trimaran's tests.
- China — Visits the Shenzhen area every year. For 2 years was the Chief Designer at Cabrinha, working directly with production.
- Today — master's in aerodynamics at ITA (Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica), glider pilot training, and building SHAPER.XYZ. Programming since age 12, he writes the geometry engine himself.
He also built Aloha.news, a positive-news platform for sports and special-interest communities.
Flying R&D platform
Tucano Replica · PR-ZND
A replica of the T-27 Tucano trainer. The project started in São Gabriel, Rio Grande do Sul; our founder acquired it and has been flying and maintaining the aircraft since 2023 — including a ferry flight across Brazil from São Gabriel (RS) to Fortaleza (CE).
It is our hands-on aviation platform: a real aircraft, in the air, now going through a full modernization:
- Rotax 915 engine
- DUC Tiger propeller
- Garmin G3X glass panel with full sensor suite and autopilot
- Modified wing fuel tanks
- and further upgrades
